Coming soon: two foals by Belissimo M and an eventer by Persiflage.

It feels like such a long, long wait. Dizzy had last year’s foal in March, Raica in April and Darley in June.

Dizzy didn’t take with two cycles of frozen so went back to Persiflage for some live cover and got in foal first time. She knows what she likes!

Raica got in foal first time to Belissimo M but then there was no foetus on the heartbeat scan so we had to start all over again.

And Darley was a good girl and got in foal first time also to Belissimo M.

The upshot of all this is that all 3 foals are due at around the same time: late May/early June.

Here is Belissimo M, followed by his son Benicio and his son Bonds. IMHO they are all simply stunning. Renowned for their trainabilty. Belissimo M was a GP horse who qualified for the Olympics, London 2012.

Benicio has won the Bundeschampionat and broke the previous record score at his stallion testing. That score had been held by none other than his sire Belissimo M. Benicio scored over 78% at PSG/Inter I and is now competing GP.

Bonds was champion of the 2015 Oldenburg stallion licensing and sold for €500,000. He recently did his 3 day suitability under saddle test and scored 9.0 for trot, 10.0 for canter, 7.60 for walk, 9.50 for rideability, 9.50 for overall impression to finish with a score of 9.12 to make him one of the highest scoring stallions of the year.
