Purchased in 2014 from MKM Sportshorses, Raica is from one of the best mare lines in Westfalen. They won best mare family in Hessen for 4 consecutive years. Her dam Primavera was vice champion 3yo riding horse at the Hessen National Championships.
This motherline has produced one of the most influential stallions in the history of dressage breeding, Romadour II. Romadour II was a champion in his own right, he is the sire of Rosenkavalier, grandsire of the legendary Rubinstein and damsire of Belissimo M. The influence of Romadour II cannot be underestimated.
Primavera’s full sister Paloma is a double stallion mother. She produced Freestyle who stands in Canada and competed to Intermediaire 1. She also produced Flammengold who also competed to Intermediaire 1. Flammengold stands in the UK and Germany and has sired five Grand Prix competitors including Fabioso who was National Intermediaire I freestyle champion, national Intermediaire II vice champion and has competed in international GP competitions. Flammengold is also sire of German licensed stallion Frank Sinatra Gold who competes at Grand Prix.
Raica is proving to be an outstanding broodmare.

2016 Stolen Secret by Uthopia. Retained by the stud and being produced by Sonnar Murray-Brown. She was the best 2yo filly in the country scoring 87.5% at the Futurity.
2018 Stolen Bold by Casino Grande. Superb colt (now gelding) who has sold to the very talented young Grand Prix rider Olivia Towers.
2019 Stolen Escador by Escamillo. A colt with the quality to become a stallion. Retained by the stud.
