Stolen Sunrise AKA Dawn is eager and kind. She is willing to please. She has scope to burn and paces good enough to score highly at dressage. She is laid back but has plenty of engine to make her a serious contender for 4**** and 5***** eventing. She would suit an ambitious amateur as well as a professional rider because everyone loves riding an easy, willing and talented horse.

Bred specially for eventing with a high % of TB and Anglo Arab blood (over 75%) By an advanced eventing stallion Persiflage, her motherline has produced an Olympic event horse. I think you can tell that she is born to jump.

Born in 2016, Dawn stands 16.3. She has excellent conformation, three really good paces and a lovely, willing temperament.

Price guide *****

She has been specially bred to event. She is by the advanced eventer Persiflage who combines truly great eventing blood. He combines the legendary Primitive Rising and the motherline of Badminton winner Tamarillo.

Her damsire is European YR gold medallist Uptons Deli Circus who was sound and competing into his 20s. He is known for the lovely temperament he passes on and has sired Badminton 5***** event horses. He produces horses with talent, soundness and trainability.

Dawn’s granddam was my bloodhounding horse. She galloped across the biggest country in the UK, cleared 6’ hedges with ease, always at the front of the field and so sound I used to call her ‘The Iron Horse’. We later went on to do dressage. She was in the top 50 horses in the country at Open Medium level and competed to PSG. She retired to stud sound age 16 and is still alive and well age 27.

The depth of talent in most horses comes from their motherline. This motherline proves that theory. It has produced an Olympic eventer called Before I Do It who competed at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing. It has also produced a supreme champion at the Horse of the Year Show;  a mare called Bright and Fair who was considered the best of her generation.

Dawn promises so much. She is sweet and pretty and loves people. She has a fabulous jump, 3 very smart paces and she is brave and clever. She has the pedigree to back up that promise.

Dawn is with Tomas Hanlon near Marlborough in Wiltshire where she can be seen and tried. Top quality, well produced horses like this one are very few and far between.
